I would stay the course with college, maybe tweak your classes some to involve studies towards the real estate end of it and work with a real estate Mentor, Bank, real estate Co., etc.

I have also represented my daughter through her purchase of a HUD home where we also co-signed the loan for her.So, I don't know who is telling you that it isn't allowed.

In both cases my title co was able to chase it down and get the parcels included- however neither were through Hud- they just had old title work that was sloppy and needed cleaned up.
