Like Bruce said I'd rent month-month and find the right place once you get over here.Ideally some kind of plex would be a great fit whether it's a duplex, triplex or quadplex that way you have your own living corridors and don't have to fight the roommate battles.Best of luck on the journey!

That said, if there is someone here who has had this exact scenario and it did not go favorably then I would defer to their experience as a more likely scenario, but even then I would still fight it. 2) I certainly would not have given a full refund.
