BUT, it does mean that sophisticated lenders believe that THE CHANCE of default in said situation puts the loan beyond the “risk/reward” parameters that they’re comfortable with.  

But, I don't feel like we should get involved in any of this and simply continue to collect rent and tell them to work it out amongst themselves, since we can't prove anything one way or the other.Anyone have any thoughts on the subject, or experience?

Canyon Lake also has a much slower paced feel then some of the other lakes I looked at (Lake LBJ, Lake Travis), and is not nearly as built up and commercialized as those.
