Not to mention the expense of acquiring the property and tying up your capital.If you use it as a rental, that won't solve the problem as to where you want to live after you get married, right?

You can't solve their problems and bring value until they're comfortable enough with you to share their situation and what they need.

Has anyone ever had this problem and if so how did you solve it?

My dilemma is to fix it up and sell it or to rent it out again.

The Seller's proposed solution (add a humidifier) does not solve the issue.

I definitely could use the expertise of this group.
