Typically with in-fill lots, your options are going to be driven by the local codes, current zoning and what the surround properties are zoned for.

It's all about the neighborhoods, and a typical zip code includes many different neighborhoods with different outcomes.Here in Houston a few blocks one way or the other will totally change the character of a neighborhood.
