I am a 22 year old mechanical engineering student who has one year left of school before I graduate.

Especially if you could focus on student housing, Georgia Southern is expanding as a university and becoming a viable alternative to other big state schools like UGA since those are becoming more and more competitive to get into.

Once you add in student loan payments and and rent (previously paid by student loans) I had an extra $1,100 per month of payments.

If you have a group of medical students or graduate students applying, that's going to be different than a group of 21 year old frat boys. 

With that said, my goal was to save as much of my money as possible while I lived at home and her's was to work part time through nursing school paying it off as she went; end goal, no student loans, and money in the bank. 

Like you said, college students probably won't care either way.

Is Oberlin college student housing investment a good idea long term for out of state investor?

I am 24 years old and work in tech.I found BP a few years ago through another business forum but was only a college student at the time without a steady income.Now that I have two years of income and a healthy nest egg I'm looking to invest in my first multifamily property by taking advantage of FHA financing.

Just getting started on my real estate investing journey and hoping the community can offer their advice.This year, I’m focused on paying off my debts (student and car loans) and learning as much as I could in real estate.

I do have a high income and live a frugal, low-expense lifestyle, and because of this, my student loan debt could very well be completely paid off by the end of 2019.
