I have traveled to every state in the US and 20-something countries.  

I was traveling a lot for work recently and racked up some good balances. 

That is a combined travel time of over 2 hours for my wife every day and over 2 hours for me the days I go into the office.Hope that all makes sense, thanks BP!

When it’s done right, you can casually manage your properties from a distance if you decide to travel, and when dealing with one software platform or portal, it’s kind of like having 6 kids or 8 kids....after the first couple, you don’t really even notice when another one shows up.

For now, I like knowing what I'm getting paid weekly at my full-time job, along with the medical benefits, 401k and profit sharing that it provides. 

I also recommend traveling to the target area once or twice to understand the market.

So, after traveling to Ohio to visit family I went and looked at a quad that is up for sale. 

It will pay for things like subscriptions, software, administrative, travel, etc. 

well, I will be heavily traveling for those 3 months and I am able to command a pretty decent profit on the rental, and I can use the spare cash ;) (great tenants - 760+ credit score, 4x income etc.). 

As others have pointed out, other areas of real estate might require a degree.I earned an associates in medical electronics and a bachelors in business administration by working full time days and going to both schools at night.
