Add in bad schools and a bad area 5-7 blocks away which could engulf that property like a cancer over time, if it were my place I would sell. 

The high ceilings, school district and floor plan made this deal real attractive.

My co-worker (at a property management firm), recommended goin to the real estate school [dot] org where they will list out all of the requirements to get licensed in WA State.

I am currently taking property management classes at the same time looking to get into a landlord training class either way i'm jumping into my first multifamily with in the next 25-30 (when my cash out refi closes) In the meantime I have been learning as much as i can in the landlord/property management areas while still searching and analyzing deals.I am investing in Massachusetts  and not apposed to investing out of state.

Curious if you've found that places that target families stay booked during weekdays during the school year?

Some just offer payfor training. 

Do you have kids or a partner where it might be a better school or closer to your partner's work?

I am 17 and want to get involved as soon as high school is over.

These are professionals with additional training and a stricter code of ethics.
