Keep the PM in check by not strictly relying on their contacts. 

My only advice is to make sure you are as knowledgeable as possible about any rules and things you have to follow regarding the local governments rules as I hear sometimes they can be strict. 

When I was young I was heavily into reptiles and amphibians and I'm betting they probably have a blue tongued skink;  they're docile, non-destructive and likely will be eating out of a food bowl on a diet of non-living, non-mobile food.  

Find a title company that deals strictly with these type of transactions.
