It seems crazy to there are people that don't know they have ownership in a property and can sell it, but it's not that uncommon at all.    

I listened to a lot of people to acquire more doors and "cash flow."  

@Noel Dixon The most overlooked thing I see when people talk about assumable mortgages is that, if you can get approved by the lender holding the mortgage, you will need to bring the difference between the loan and purchase price in cash.

People love our parks. 

I have several BRRRR's that I've completed over the course of time and as I'm sure many other long term buy and hold investors experience, I have several people wanting to "invest with me" or in my deals. 

What are people looking for?

Joe, I can say that a lot of people avoid the West End/Portland areas, but I believe those people are short-sighted or unable to see the potential in these areas. 

Some people are just lucky I guess.

Some of the other work will be done by handymen or other people. 

I know a few people that operate in the new england area with STRs and do well so don't feel like you can't do something closer to home.
