You have no ability to make improvements to increase the value (and benefit as the owner); you can't deduct mortgage interest on your taxes as you don't hold the mortgage; and you can't own it while the value rises over time.

We have one owner and one tenant so far and we are currently setting up Buildium.

At the time I purchased this condo, I was in my early 20's and the idea of signing a document that committed me to anything for 30 years freaked me out, because I hadn't even been alive for 30 years!

Do you find one of those tools more reliable than the other, or do you use both for different insights?
