Don´t be shy about hopping on a plane.Keep doing your research and try to narrow down your focus to specific property types and locations.

In this state there are some very narrow windows during which you can even think about evicting anyone due to summer heat or winter cold.

Thru hiring a realtor you gain access to the same information available from these sites, but with a narrow specific focus.

On the MLS, it is very easy to pull up a map of recently rented properties (not actively for-rent, but rented) and follow the groupings.Once you have narrowed it down, I always suggest going for a walk through the neighborhood.

A couple of them wouldn't have worked as they are well/septic systems.Any advise as an investor where I might also look, maybe help narrow down my search scope.Thanks

I've narrowed my focus and gotten much more serious about it in the last 2 years or so.

Some general questions about tax sales:I'm considering driving by all of the properties to check them out (after I narrow down the list online).  

The lot is narrow and deep so the possible uses are limited for something such as fast food or a single tenant office, however together with the adjacent corner lot it would be perfect for a pharmacy or small retail development.

Many were unresponsive and some stood me up, it was pretty easy to narrow down to a short list.
