I read online that using the same address could potentially allow it to be easier to be "linked" to you as a LLC business owner in any legal cases and hence defeat the purpose of LLC layer of protection.

Keep that in mind when submitting under an LLC, as you'd want to make sure that the majority holder is the one with the better FiCo.There are also other ways of borrowing outside of conventional lending, provided this property is NOO and will be used for investment purposes.

If you are holding them for your own purposes (and do not plan on refi-inf them at any point) it's less of a worry or selling to cash buyers who are aware of the type of deed they are being sold and costs associated with it.....then to each their own.
