I was wondering if anyone from there have some insights on the surrounding areas, property type (single family, multi), and/or airbnb market?

Focusing on one thing being multi-family is what I am trying to do at the moment so this episode reinforced that strategy. 

I've located the first multi family property I would like to purchase.

I too bought not one, but two multi-families with my sister (the trusted team on the ground) in the same month earlier this year. 

We are mainly looking at SFH and small multi-family if we can find it.

Of course you can do it to easily track income.My 2 cents is save your money and don't do the LLC unless you need one.

Looks like im back on the right track. 

My goal is to begin my real estate journey buy acquiring a multi-unit i can occupy and rent out to cover to the mortgage and hopefully create small cash flow. 

Tracking the development of the relationships with potential investors may become a cumbersome task - and the burden of proof is placed upon the syndicator to prove that the pre-existing relationship was formed at the time a potential investor was provided a 506(b) deal package.

One of our goals is to own a few multi-family apartment units.
