This is my first deal and it went really well all things considered, and it got me to interact with the local housing authority for permits, it got me to interact with financing and banking to understand HELOC vs cash out refinance, renovation sources of funding.

This is how I connected with a bank that I now interact with on a regular basis.I'd also recommend picking up Commercial Mortgages 101 by Reinhold - it was such a great read and really set me down the path of commercial loans instead of strictly looking for residential loans.

You still have to manage each property doing guest interaction, turns, maintenance, etc.

I just want to say the interaction that happened above was great.

I don't get as much interaction with YouTube like I do with Facebook but I think it's important that people be able to see a video of the property to get them interested enough to seek additional information (like my property specific Facebook Page).You can also do a property specific Twitter page, but I haven't gone down that route yet.  

I did a lot of research first and I learned a lot about deeds and filings and judgments and how the county and city and courts interact.

Additionally, to ensure anonymity in other situations, most people would not use their Holding Company when interacting with tenants, contractors, or in networking.

I know that you live in NY and it may be hard for you, but nothing replaces the face to face interactions.

I'm sure it's evolved since then, and likely gone up in price.Later on, when I was considering 1:1 private coaching, I interviewed 8 different coaches, including Michael Blank's program, but decided that at the $xx,xxx the price tag would only be worthwhile if I got to interact with "the man, himself."
