I am in the financial industry and have been guiding her to get her credit back in line but I know it will take some time.  

I've seen a bunch of threads on book recommendations, but nothing on what's being read now, and advice on take-aways or suggestions of similar books.I've just started reading "The complete guide to real estate finance for investment properties by Steve Berges.

All rules of thumb and things/book guides don't really apply to us, I'm not saying 100%, but might be 90%.

I'm also looking for someone I can trust an will guide me through out the process.
