I live in Dallas and I'm considering joining Lifestyle's Unlimited's ("LIU") PIG membership.

I really hope she improves her lifestyle because it will be hard for her to find housing with an eviction on her report. 

I personally do not like high consumer lifestyles, but for me time is money. 

As others have mentioned, focus on higher incomes, Saving/investing and not adjusting your lifestyle upwards as you make more.

But overall, $1,000 a month doesn't change our lifestyle. 

My mom grew up in the 1950's and they were very poor, but she told me, they never thought they were poor because everyone around them lived the same life style.

I might recommend taking a look to see if investing in Colorado Springs (60-90 min from Denver) fits your lifestyle and investment goals.
