So my question is since a person would need to have at least a two year work history with there employer to apply for a loan is it posible to put your two weeks in and quickly start another job and still get financing before the two year period?

Hello BP.Thanks in advance for taking time out of your day to consider my question.I am trying to position myself to obtain financing for another rental property next year.I currently have one rental property, of which I own 100% of the equity and is cash flowing well.My problem is that I am self-employed.

I graduate next semester and I plan on working for 8 years and then hopefully being completely self employed through Real Estate full time.  

I was just trying to contrast it with a long book.I am fine with a  1000 page book,  without any fluff instead of 100 page book with lot of fluff.I am just looking for something that is more to the point.

The following employees are exempt from the coverage of this chapter:...(2) Any person employed, for not exceeding twenty (20) consecutive work days, to do maintenance, repair, remodeling, or similar work in or about the private home of the employer, or if the employer has no other employees subject to this chapter, in or about the premises where that employer carries on his or her trade, business, or profession;

I contacted her employer.

You speak as though nobody but you has any business experience (I've been self employed my entire life thanks). 

I have my family and friends full support, I have a team of experienced contractors, I have a long time employment and a great credit score to obtain financing.

I do take the advice of having a job (well second job, as I am currently employed) that will provide me with extra income, but it is very possible to do a deal or two without a car and I'll just have to prove it.

My concerns are not in places like Houston, or Dallas.I am talking about parks in oil country, where the bigger employers are Oil Services.
