Has Anyone Raised Capital using Land Trusts & Assignment of Beneficial Interest ?

Make sure you have good liability insurance and an attorney or trust company look over the deal but I would not recommend an entity.

Nation is opening up their 2nd location in the old firehouse..... lots of good movement..affordable, quiet pockets, not disconnected from downtown/highways like most of the westside. 

Because I definitely don't trust him paying other bills like sewer and tax while he owes me the rest I don't want it getting re-forclosed on.

So I after some (lots) of reading and bp podcasts I think some real estate investment trusts on the stock market would be the way to go.

Finding investors you trust to lend to is no doubt a giant leap of faith but maybe instead partner up with a group of friends on a multi and at least put some of that $300K to work for you.

Next, is the lack of a team on my part.I am aware there are several types of people I want to be in contact with, especially because I want to go the route of having my houses under land trusts (managed by) LLC (managed by) Living trusts.

Take all advice with a grain of salt, and trust your own instincts in the end.

LLCs and trusts can help then. 

Am possibly interested in a charitable remainder trust as an exit strategy on some appreciated and high basis buildings.
