I have been wanting to get in the real estate rental business for a while now and have been looking through the forums here, listening to the podcast, researching strategies, and have read several books to expand my knowledge on real estate and the does and don'ts.

No matter where you live or where you own assets, I personally recommend the Series LLC to be a great tool for the individual investor who is planning to expand their operation, as it allows for you to scale infinitely with no additional fees.

If you just started out with the goals of achieving 10 personal rentals as quickly as possible, would you bring on multiple partners and expand the teams goals of an additional 10 per person or would you stick with as little people as possible allowing a lower requirement of fitting properties to find?

At this point in time, to give y’all an idea of what I’m doing(I’m from Texas), I’m wholesaling, have a dialer in place qualifying leads, I follow up, I’m in the process of creating an LLC just for basic RE income(operating company), and I’ll expand into either a parent LLC or S-Corp with underlying LLC’s with land trusts that have properties in each of them, along with a lush umbrella policy.

@Mindy JensenThe siding should not be nailed all the way in it needs to be able to expand and contract, check to see if the siding was nail to tight.
