You might even just move...Perhaps because its part of the "American dream," at least homeownership will lets you do whatever you want in your own home. 

Statistics have shown that in the past several years the shift has moved dramatically from foreign investor-based buyers to local and domestic based buyers as currency markets have shifted and the pandemic has also slowed down foreign buyer activity especially from areas such as Europe that have more restrictions of American travel.

Some people literally make playing the legal game their job in an effort live for free at the expense of others.The sad thing is that if they spent that effort being productive to society rather then being destructive - this entire thread wouldn't even exist.

I've heard the horror stories too and a friend's friend was featured on American Greed, having lost her life savings with a 1031 exchange company.I spoke to Claudia at this exchange, on the recommendation of a realtor friend, and although I haven't gone forward yet, and have never done business with them, I will start my due diligence here.Claudia M.
