Anyhow, I am just saying selling and finding something else to buy in another area or state is more complicated than finding a property manager and a tenant for an existing building , so I wouldn’t necessarily use that as the sole reason to sell.

So that in the event you want to do it yourself with permits or contractors are not available in a timely manner you can do it yourself do it right and get it done and move on to the next opportunity.NC LAW snippet:A person may construct or alter a building on land owned by that person without having a general contractor’s license so long as the building is intended solely for occupancy by the owner and his family AND the owner obtains all required permits.

Can you site your source showing just cause must be provided for a lease termination under the current statewide Covid rules.Granted if the tenant refuses to leave, an eviction will be required so the point is subtle in the case that a tenant refuses to leave at lease termination.
