If you can't get all of the information you need to screen properly, which should include positive past rental references, then it's a pass.

Are you sure you can't generate some rental income from the land by perhaps renting it as parking spaces or even storage to existing tenants?

Hi All,We are considering a rental property as new as possible either in Research Triangle park proximity or Charlotte.

I'm rereading Brandon's book on Managing rental properties and he mentions that you need to give everyone an opportunity to apply, even if they don't meet the minimum criteria you have set.

I think of it like a long term rental that has the address listed all over the internet.
