The seminars are really just a scam for the promoter to stick his hand in your pocket.Check out this article on a guru seminar my company attended earlier this year.

It seems mostly a promotion for replacement systems.I won't argue his logic - R-22 systems are at or near their end-of-life.

So, any guarantees in that arena are strictly promotional.  

Also, as someone else mentioned, online "courses" and whatnot are promoting virtual wholesaling/JVing and people are locking up deals without knowing the market.

I'm happy to let fellow investors know and share my experience with them so they can decide whether or not to pursue funding through F&G, but I wouldn't say I promote them. 

Ironically, this should ensure that the rules are respected better than if we'd reported the post as anybody who wants to pitch a deal against the rules might reconsider after going through this thread.It seems that the promoting party (after talking to the developer?)

However, now we are running promotions of 5% management fees, and 30% leasing commission. 

I myself when I wanted to promote deals I gave away 5 day and 7 day cruises.. people will respond to those more than a car.Since you do not divulge if this is a 1980 914 that is worth 500 bucks or a 2010 Carrera that is worth 60k..

BP has hundreds if not thousands of people that promote this type of operation.
