Replacing your cost of living will be almost impossible in most markets currently due to high prices and higher interest rates.

In cold markets, guests like to come home to a nice hot dinner (not to mention the good smells that fill the house as a result 😊)Try to put yourself in a guest's shoes and ask yourself what you'd want to have accessible to you when traveling to a mountain market - the little things will be most appreciated by guests!

I'll be dipping into the RE market here in one way or another.  

Primary one would be a deep recession leading to an inability to fill the building with tenants willing and able to pay the projected rent.

I've wanted to get into real estate for a long time but typically moving into that realm in a w2 position means a decent pay cut and probable loss of all the other good stuff.

We've been having great success in all 4 of those markets.

Markets closer to your back yard are easier to get started in.

I'm ignoring it because it sounds suspiciously like a marketing ploy.
