There are two main routes you can go: owner occupied - advantages include, lower down-payment, easier to recover from mistakes, easier to manage property, lowered living expensesinvestment property - needs a larger down payment but will cash flow right away, management can a little harder but you can get property management, it will also be harder to get a loan but at the same time easier to buy properties that need repairs.If we want lets link up.

To my understanding, the main stream of income generally comes from leasing it out to a single tenant for an extended period of time.My question is, instead of leasing directly to a tenant, would an owner of an investment property consider selling their rental rights for a fixed amount to a short-term rental manager?

There's a good chance that applicants on McDaniel street are drug dealers or prostitutes, because that's the main drag, so, you might have to deal with letter from the police, telling you that they might seize your house, if you don't evict the tenant, if they've caught them in criminal activity.
