And unfortunately, those are the people who didn't have flood insurance because they didn't think they needed it.

One thing I've noticed is that a lot of people don't have "replacement value" insurance coverage.

It is in fact a liability that will cost you far more than it will likely ever be worth over the life time of ownership (except in some select markets).Life style choices are not something others can advise you on.

Why not spend some time me working your new job and rebuilding your credit/life?
