Jane,My advise would be to seek out multiple Independent Agents (they represent many insurance companies) an have them contact their markets.

I like the idea of working from home but let's be real, any new agent needs the hands on mentorship experience to fully understand and perform their best!

You just have to have a trustworthy agent to let you know where those areas are.
