I have seen numerous posts about turnkey recommendations in the forums this year.

I should have done more homework before I purchased a lesser value project.At Bill Brandt-I actually think i am growing by purchasing a lesser value home (I would own this free and clear) compared to a mortgage-but sounds like the IRS doesn't think so.I may look into purchasing a couple more homes to bring that value up to $208ish.

Some leases allow for bill back, some don't.Taxes you can run on county assessor's website, normally.  

I have done numerous transactions with them and I am in the middle of closing one out right now and they are always more than accommodating.

As for section 8, when the government picks up the tab you know the checks are always going to come in but on the flip side of that coin - when people are not paying their own bills, it is typical that they take less pride in where they are living.

It just means the old owner didn't pay the bill.

If you get a loan to buy a rental or fixer up how you pay your rent and bills and loan payments too?
