@Lauren Juarez I’m sorry for not clarification on my end , I’m not saying $500 from the start , im saying it’ll probably be more like 200-300 & once I get the 10 using the properties to snow ball and hammer those mortgages down to achieve The 500, along with the money from my trucking business, sorry for the confusion I tried to edit the post

Hey my name is Lance i live in nyc and cannot find any properties that makes sense financially in the ball park of 300,000-500,000 i am thinking of purchasing my first rental property/ house hack but i'm not sure what area i should look to invest in. at the moment i am thinking about new jersey a duplex or a triplex in the neighborhood of 3-400 thousand range i am looking for advise on what i should do if it makes more sense to stay in nyc and just keep saving up or should i take the leap and move to start building wealth?

Get quotes from the foundation specialists and renegotiate your offer from there.If the seller does not allow you to enter the house again, you can take a risk and low ball the seller based on worst case foundation issues.

I want to see if the way I am interpreting the rules of my HoA makes sense regarding renting.According to the covenants: (a) no owner may lease less than his entire Lot; except as otherwise herein provided(b) all leases must be in writing(c) all leases shall provide that the terms of the lease and lessee's occupancy of the lot shall be subject in all respects to the provision in the Declaration, the Articles of Incorporation, the Bylaws, and these rules of the Association.
