Just save.Don't make babies, don't finance any car purchases, don't get a dependa while still in, live in the barracks (or luxury suites or whatever they are called in the AF :P ), avoid the strippers, don't get a stupid life insurance policy, eat in the chow hall where the food is actually pretty good considering that you're still paying for it even if you don't eat there (I actually miss "Salisbury Steak" believe it or not...), minimal tats visible while wearing a t-shirt and shorts, KEEP READING!

If the deal is AMAZING- well below market rate/food equity OR great cash flow such as 2% rule or above, then a formal inspection is less of an issue because there’s enough margin to cover big expenses that might come up.
