The best areas where you can still find good deals in Tampa.The first is University Square, high in diversity low in cost of living, and it is ideal for new families and young students that are just getting started.

The reason I picked Xero (to use with HR Block) is because I saw all the horror stories on the Quickbooks support page for how Turbotax (the company that owns QB) won't import from the QB export file (has to go through a conversion step).

Here are the items of concern (to me) that are listed on the inspection report.Roof appears to be 15-20 years of ageMold buildup on the foundation walls and support joists/subfloor.

All of my properties are within 20 minutes of my house, and the bulk of them are within 10 minutes of my house because they are within a mile of the university, which was my target area and I'm 10 minutes from the university. 

Jason Setty at Universal Title White Marsh has been great to work with on a couple of deals that I've done with non US residents. 

Something like that will allow you to have the support you need to get started, while also allowing you to make some money if you do well.

One thing to consider if the property is near the university, is do you want to rent to college students. 

Good - steady, good rents from military and their supporting civilian workers.
