The hot spots are likely to become economically impacted by no one wanting to visit.

@Steven SteeleKeep in mind that in order to take a distribution or loan under the CARES Act you must have been impacted by the virus in one of the enumerated ways & your current account provider must allow you to take a CARES Act distribution or loan. 

In addition to these potentially favorable factors, the state of California has improved J/ADU legislation to promote their development including allowing ADUs and JADUs to be built concurrently with a single-family dwelling, opening areas where ADUs can be created to include all zoning districts that allow single-family and multifamily uses, modifying fees from utilities such as special districts and water corporation and limited exemptions or reductions in impact fees.

I assumed that because I used the least invasive product they offered potential tenants would not be significantly impacted by the check.Does anyone have a opinion on the situation and the service providers in this space?

Unless you’re sitting on pretty hefty savings and know your industry won’t be impacted by what’s going on, then you should err on the side of caution.And there is good reason to exercise caution.

Plus, if you're the active syndicator, you can earn modest fees which do not significantly impact your investors' returns, while simultaneously compensating you for your efforts and allowing you to focus on delivering on the investment and seeking more deals.
