In Michigan, can the designated agent “Non-LLC Owner” file the papers to change or remove themselves from the Single Member LLC as agent without contacting the owner?

In my first deal, I just closed on a 5 property purchase (4 single families and a 4 plex) and all of the properties have long term renters except 1 single family.

I feel the numbers make sense, but I don't have any insight on the rental market for single family homes. 

I have been renting out a single family home in Connecticut for a year now and my tenants want to renew there lease for another year and they've told me they plan to buy a house in the town my home is located at the end of the next year lease.

And much easier to run a gas line to the second floor than duct runs.Another benefit to these units is that they are super easy to work on (not many parts), so that could save you a call to an HVAC technician.All my rentals are single floor, and these work terrific for anything less than 900 square feet. 

Syndication, fund, or single-member LLC?

If I have 3 applicants that have similar work history, clean backgrounds, and similar credit score, then is it okay to choose an older single person over a younger couple.I should state that the most recent tenant I did a terrible job of choosing and after just a year we threw the carpets out and filled two dumpsters with house and yard trash.
