Hey all,I’m trying to find a way to make seller financing more palatable for owners, as every deal I propose it on gets shot down.

Well, this is a necessity that I'm trying to turn into an opportunity.

I'm considering trying to pay down this mortgage faster since the interest rate is a lot higher than I'd like it to be, and if interest rates drop and I'm able to refinance in a couple years, it would be nice to have even less of the principal to refinance on.

I’m not sure if I would rebuild myself or just try to resell to an interested builder.

Which by the way, will still allow you to purchase more property and add to your depreciable basis that way.My two cents would be that it is a no win scenario trying to please a buyer with improvements.

I would try to avoid it on your very first deal but plan your exit right with multiple options.
