I don’t need the extra time the MLS give right now, I’m just practicing my analysis skills, so it seems that it’s too early to find an agent to work with and get in the MLS emails yet.

I found BP a few months ago through the real estate podcast and was inspired there to take the jump into REI as a way to help tackle debt when I finish my Ph.D. and my wife finishes medical school.There isn't much experience with REI in my immediate family or friend-circle.

So along with the non-paying tenant, the property management company adds its own chaotic and confusing element with their shaky communication skills.

After listening to many real estate pod cast by BiggerPockets, I’ve become a big fan and I’m convinced this is the perfect place to get started.Over the years I have acquired various skills including construction, excavation & equipment operation, masonry, mechanics, spreadsheets, communications, and office management.My strengths however are in planning/creating consistent & standardized workflow as well as excellent communication and networking skills.I'm a "Go-Getter" and I recently transitioned to a stay at home dad due to a concussion injury.

I am good at what I do and the skills developed align perfectly with debt investing.

@Greg Spring, there are a few different one, MCREIA is a big one but if you go on meetup's website there are a bunch of other ones that people host locally and advertise times and locations through meetupAccount Closed, people are usually referring to 35803 and some or all of 35802 as SE Hsv, 35801 in more central (downtown/medical district), 35805 is SW, 35816 is west and sits on the north side of 35805, 35810 and 35811 are north (west and east respectively), "The Parkway" or 231 is the east west dividing line
