If I self manage(which was what I was planning) it could turn out a big headache) there are a lot of condos for sale which is a bit alarming as well.I would be self managing from California so that’s long distance management and may consist of many flights taking care of any necessities.Why can’t this be an easier decision lol good luck!

There is no trick, think of it this way: you have a principal to pay off ($175k, so you could do 175 months x $1,000) and as long as you do the outstanding balance generates interest.Your mortgage payment is PITI, you always have TI, principal you pay in your own pocket and interest is a tax write-off.But from a cash flow point of view paying one off first is better, because you save both the principal and interest portion, which comes out to about $1050.

According to our understanding of the VA home loan guidelines, a property can be up to 4 units, and mix use is allowed so long as the property will be the buyer’s primary residence and the the commercial use is subordinate to the residential use comprising no more than 25% of the property space.
