I just bought and closed on a property that was flipped and I had Piedmont come out today to turn on the gas however they told me they couldn’t because the equipment in my house is not up to code (attached list of what needs to be done).

HVAC is now a high efficiency gas combi-boiler with newly installed central air.  

The property doesn't need much, a new roof (it's leaking) and some minor interior work here and there, mostly drywall and a window or two.

There is a plumbing leak somewhere in that property.

Getting gas to the house is 50.00 dollars .

I also do semi-annual inspections where I check smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and plumbing for small leaks.

We got a bid from one roofing company and they came up with 7K, but there is one leak and I am sure they are just trying to take advantage.So now I want to ask if anyone can recommend someone or a good honest company who can take a look at it.Thank you,Vilena
