I'm toying with the idea of purchasing a less expensive property outside of my local area for buy and hold purposes, and also toying with the idea of putting an LLC in possession of the property for legal protection and to reap the other known benefits of having an LLC...However, I don't want to ruin my personal chances of getting an FHA loan for a more expensive home in my local area with little down as a first time homebuyer, and I wondered what the word was.Do I still qualify for an FHA loan even if an LLC in my name is in possession of habitable property?

In that idea, I would say a property in BK is looked at more often by the Mortgagee increasing the chances of it being revealed.  

REI is a numbers game, so the more people that you reach, the higher your chance of success will be. 

In reality there's a pretty solid chance that it will be a Class B or C property.The Class C property may see a neighborhood revitalization/gentrification and come back to a B.

The more you touch a person through your marketing, the better the chances are that you will find your deals. 

Market is getting good here in the Metroplex...any chance of them unloading these properties or what their process is for doing that?

I use it as a guideline to kind of help me do a quick and dirty "is there any chance this deal will work" analysis. 

Any chance we might be able to swap venues. and those of us that live way south of town don't have to go to the north.. side and fight that traffic on 5 north. ?
