We would consider renting out the basement on the weekends as an air bnb but we would need to weigh up the effort vs rewards there to see if it will be worth it. 

All that said, I have found the experience to be extremely rewarding, both personally and professionally, and the satisfaction that comes from helping my clients understand their homes and navigate the defects discovered makes it all worthwhile (One of my inspections just saved a client $42K on their deal price!)

When comparing these two options, I think investing in Cleveland aligns better with my "real estate why" and longer-term goals.With that as context, I have been looking at a potential high-risk, high-reward multi-family housing development opportunity on land bank properties.

I can tell you its a very rewarding career that has taught me that real estate, no matter the form, will be involved in the rest of my life. 

Its just not rewarding anymore plus I want to provide for my Autistic daughterIt seems really hard or near impossible to get into real estate if you don’t make a lot of money i.e. teachers like me.  

As you know in investing, the higher the risk the higher the reward.

It’s too good to be true and no lender with half a brain would do that at 5% the risk/reward doesn’t even line up.
