I am curious to hear any and all creative PR strategies when bringing a mixed-use property project to completion.

I initially wanted to rely on the caterers rent, and the rent from the cottage next door, while living in the main house (using the money to bring it all to FHA standards).

These types of organizations tend to bring in those that understand, that you have to spend it to make it.

I had never even considered that they are more likley the ones to bring unwanted pets and subletting their units because those are two things I personally know that people have done once theyve renewed an initial lease, typically because their finances accumulated over a year or 2 allow them to afford a pet or to afford amenities to allow for sublettingAaron thank you on your perspective on not being able to dictate what you want to pay for. 

Most agents would understand as long as you stick witht he agent that brings you the deal. 

@Angela Palchowski, I don't think having a less than perfect memory adds any liability to you.

I would guess that at least one would want it to be sold on the open market at full price.Deaths, relatives, and unearned money up for grabs seems to bring out the most greedy relatives one could imagine....unless you are Steven King!

I think it will take a few months for sellers to figure out their values with the inability to bring rents to market levels. 

Over the years I have always been bringing it up to my wife how much of a benefit house hacking would be for us financially down the road.
