Hello allFirst i want to give perhaps a little background on myself:-I'm 22 years old and i have just graduated college with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from a university in the metro Detroit area.

The process is almost the same as building on flat land (architect, engineering, permitting, build).

It's a 4bd 2 bath and...we're envisioning the below list for the type of work we'll have to do to the unit before/after we move in:- Refinish or replace flooring throughout the unit with luxury vinyl planking (replace kitchen tile flooring as well)- Repaint the entire unit- Knockdown 2 walls of 1 bedroom to turn the space into the dining room for an open concept kitchen/dining/living space (may need a structural engineer?

For all intended purposes, we all have "advisors" and they can be real estate agents, attorneys, insurance brokers, accountants, contractors, inspectors, engineers, and others.

You preferably want a company with a structural engineer on staff.
