Hey everyone, do you guys recommend using General Contractors when working on your first few deals or should you do it yourself and hire each contractor separately?

My name is Nathaniel Cooper, newbie investor, and I currently reside on the South side of Chicago and i'm looking to network and connect with the many of our successful investors, agents and contractors who want to make some serious money!!!

No pressure as I enjoy chatting about the market. 

My guess is a 3/8" drywall was installed over existing plaster walls but no trim was removed, the drywall was just butted up against in. my brother-in-law is a contractor in central pa who does this, however to a much higher standard than what this was done in.

The contractor has given a bid for 630 K for a turn key (including the development of a retention pond).

I'd also love to chat with any hard money lenders, contractors, or wholesalers in the area.
