I suggest using a pro to do this, you can do it over the web but if you mess it up your personal assets are at risk anyway. 8)

Part of the research should also be reading some of the homeowner fora on the web.

Or if there's a good (as opposed to 'bad') web site or anything else that will help me grow beyond my current newbness.
