I sure hope you can find the 5 to 10 minutes at most it ought to take what may look long there, before you follow through on your current plans, since my experience and nearly everyone elses review of the city course was basically "Good thing I got my little gold sticker someplace in MKE city gov, since the rest of the info of any value at all in that city thing fits easily into a 2 page brochure if not 1 piece of paper!"

What completely made me walk from even considering the Allentown boundaries was hearing the city rental inspectors (yes, there really are "non essential government employees") yammering on about the importance of having a LICENSED plumber change a water heater in your rental.... after you have paid your poundage to the city inspection department for a  PERMIT to change such water heater, and then have it INSPECTED for the purpose of a STICKER on the appliance.... all in the name of safety!

Stickers is even better.

Ive seen alot of empty houses that have these big bright orange/yellow stickers on the door or window...not sure what they say but what does that mean?

There are still stickers on the toilet and sink in the bathroom. 

I guess they thought they were going to start a lil rehab and I noticed the city put a nice orange sticker stating the porch (clearly new) was not permitted and they added to the list "the back addition" which was done years ago. 

Are the homes WITHOUT the sticker next to them NOT eligible for the homepath loan?

If they came from a big box store then there might be a sticker somewhere with a name or number on it.

Another alternative is to notice a bumper sticker, boat, car, or something else out front that you are knowledgable about and can strike up a conversation around.

In other words, places where people are moving from to relocate here and also places where they won't get sticker shock at an $800k price tag.
