We don't use any software other than excel and quicken.Looking to switch to a more sophisticated software, Yardi seems to be the logical switch but wondering if there is any other program that works for our asset class that people would recommend over Yardi.

If you do figure out an arbitrage strategy, you will make some temporary profits but eventually the computers will detect your wins and start front-running your trades.It helps to have an advanced degree in Math/Physics/Statistics, access to sophisticated simulation software to back-test your trading strategies, and the intestinal fortitude of a Navy Seal :)

It is funny in TK sfr's everyone buys on pro forma.. but try to sell a multi family to a sophisticated investor they would never take these pro forma's for anywhere close to actuals.. they would want to see history.. and there is no history on a freshly rehabbed TK so know one really knows how they will do... other than blue sky..

I wrote a rather long post, no ide where it is but it's here, about the subject.You can certainly advertise for a "lender" might get lucky and some bank loan officer might call ;)Don't even refer to money folks as "investors" never imply a yield they will receive or profit in any ad, much less in writing.If someone were really serious about wanting money folks, if they can't approach the matter with a little sophistication, they should ask someone to help them.
