Having designed and owned investment properties before (simple rental units), I'm interested in taking this to the next level - more than likely in Miami or LA.

So in taking a break from the seriousness of real estate, what's the worst advice you've ever received (or seen if it wasn't directly to you) and where did you get it?

You can run test ads in Craigslist and local Facebook groups to see if folks are interested in taking over the homes.

The owner has countered the inspection request and currently doesn't seem interested in taking care of the the repair work.What do you think?

Hi All,I'm new to the idea behind real estate investing and am really all hands on deck in taking the remainder of 2014 to learn, solidify my focus, and move towards my first flip in 2015 and second buy and hold.  

None of them have any interest in taking on a mortgage to turn this into a rental or flip it, they are all greiving for their mom. 

Also, make sure the tenants are not blocking the output floor registers and intake return ducts, as that can cause a furnace to malfunction or shut off.We also provide lightbulbs.
