Rarely do you see someone with perfect credit all of a sudden have a short-term hiccup (usually due to illness or something like that).

I just purchased a short term rental property near the dells myself!

People are always looking for that perfect beachfront escape.Another reason these areas shine is how friendly they are to short-term rental owners.

I only give them a short time (usually 5 days total from the contract to hold) to meet for the lease signing before they lose their exclusive rights to the unit, so this prevents someone from dragging their feet after they've signed the contract to hold.Once the lease is signed, I take down the ads and send out emails to people in mid-marketing flow letting them know that the apartment has been rented but I will reach out if something falls through.

We discovered the previous owner had dementia which explained most of the work we needed to do, Our short-term is improving that unit to rental standard, not necessarily adding property value as he and I are still drawing floor plans for Long term.Thank you!!!

Our agent is not an expert on this type of deal but suggested a short loan term of 3 or 4 years and a balloon payment and written up by a lawyer. 

Everything I've purchased personally, including a recent 4-unit purchased last month, has been heavily cashflow negative initially and it usually takes a good amount of work to get it to cashflow or break even within a relatively short period of time....6-12 month approximately.

How come shortly after questions were asked that you could not or would not answer the website disappeared from the Internet?

I personally have a few SF rentals but would love to get into more of the MF or even possibly short term vacation rentals someday.
