Yes I am targeting local markets (I am targeting entire CT).If you are asking how do you pinpoint markets to market, that is simple.

As James said, get active and stay plugged into BP Nation ... pinpoint your niche and let folks know what you are doing.

Jason is probably at the point where he can walk through a property and pretty much pinpoint the materials cost in his head.

I truly feel like both of these applicants failed to try to assist in getting the verifications very unlike how serious applicants have made sure I got what I needed, but it's been hard to pinpoint (besides a bad feeling in stomach around day 3) when I figured out that it was going to be another couple days and it would all not gel.

@Jon Huber beat me to it, but city data can be a great way to get info from people who live someplace as to the true "vibe" of any area, which I've never seen any stats or demographic info that truly pinpoints that kind of info, although some may give a fairly good idea.

I agree with V as well that influence points, while a good idea, do not really pinpoint those having expertise in an area.

While the big guys are pumping money into the rural communities it sure is nice, but once they leave, can be quite detrimental if people are not prepared for the inevitable shut off of money.Oil exploration/drilling was going gangbusters since 2008 or so if I recall...first the whole state was blanketed with surveyors, then came additional teams to further pinpoint where to drill, then came the drill rigs.  

Mine would actually likely be a bit lower because I was "fortunate" enough to have hailstorms hit many of my units so I got roofs replaced by insurance claims.Perhaps we can have a unique thread where we can pinpoint precisely what the definition of this "rule" is so that we will all be speaking the same language going forward.
