Yes I understand the roof was repaired, I also understand a contractor may not be paid for materials used in the job (unless the OP is saying the GC is lying about the addition 2500 in plywood)Too many times people go on forums looking for accolades for a poorly managed project, from the scope of work to the final payment.

(I'm was Acrobat/Dancer in Broadway Tour, I also work in TV/Film/Musicals/Etc). 

In the end, it left the developer holding the bag when the music stopped.

Not an English, music or arts degree - unless you want to teach.Another alternative is to consider trade schools.

I think some parents are not the actual teachers and actually bring in outside professional credentialed educators for certain subjects, music, math etc.

Don’t demean anyone however and give accolades where due.
